About

Work

I’ve been working as a professional Software developer since 2006 mainly in Web development and related technologies.

I am interested in Internet/Technology entrepreneurialism and am building a ‘online community Web 2.0 engine’ incorporating things such as forum discussions, wiki’s and blogs etc.

Its best to look here to see what I’m talking about which is a online community related to the MMORPG Guildwars 2. Although, the engine can be used for any subject matter in which a community can be built around.

I am available for freelance work or consulting in a vast variety of IT areas. I am also available for design work.

To get in contact with me or request a resume see my contact page ill also mention that I’m always looking for partners in my endeavors.

Play

When I’m not working hard I’m usually doing one of the following

Poker: Poker is such a interesting game to me, its both a problem of mathematics as it is interpersonal.

You can solve this problem with the following…

Profit at poker = Maths + Psychology

Maths in poker; like all ‘gambeling’ is probability.

Psychology in poker is a much more complex especially in a game like ‘No Limit Holdem’. At the core is involves reading and deceiving people.

I get asked do you have to be intelligent to be successful at poker? Well we can definably say that reasoning, planning, problem solving and learning are used extensively in successful poker. And according to Wikipedia those are all components of intelligence. So the answer the question is obviously yes.

I play both live and on Pokerstars under the name Heart2Spade so if you find anything useful on my site feel free to ship me a few cents.

Guitar

I have been learning to play guitar since 2008 and ever since I have so much more respect for guitarists and musicians alike. I mainly play rock and metal.

My appreciation for types music has also grown.

Guitar: Ibanez RG (Super strat)
Amp: Ibanez Tone Blaster
Equipment: ML-2 Metal Core (Distortion) and Digitech RP355 (Multi effects processing)
Setup: Gauge 10 Strings, .73mm Pick (mainly as preference)
